Emily completed her championship in November, 1999, handled by her co-breeder Donna C. Dale. After Donna's untimely passing in March, 2001, Emily returned to the ring in late May, 2001. By the end of the year, she had 24 Best of Breed wins to her credit, including a BOB at the Skye Terrier Club of America Supported Entry show in Canfield, OH. Emily also garnered a Terrier Group 1 and multiple Group Placements. She finished the year as the #1 Skye Terrier bitch in the United States (breed points & group points) and #3 Skye Terrier overall (breed points). She repeated as #1 bitch/#3 Skye in 2003.
