We started working with
this young dog in November, 2002.. He had earned 1 point from the
Puppy class 2001 and then was not shown for a couple of years.
Rebel returned to the ring in August, 2003 and completed his AKC
championship in 10 shows over a period of about two months.
"Rebel" has distinguished
himself in strong competition. In August, 2003, he earned his first
4-point major by going Best of Winners at the Skye Terrier Club of
America Supported Entry show in Canfield, OH. Eight weeks later, he
earned his second 4-point major by going Best of Winners at the
Devon Dog Show Association - Skye Terrier Club of America National
Specialty Weekend. He completed his AKC Championship on October 18,
2003.
Beginning his specials
career in 2004, Rebel took Best of Breed at the Potomac Skye Terrier
Club Specialty show in April, 2004.
