Gleanntan has been responsibly breeding healthy and sound Skye Terriers for 56 years without interruption. Gleanntan has produced some of the breed’s greats with All-Breed Best in Show winners, Best in Specialty Show winners, and the breed’s top producers. Gleanntan Skyes have been regarded for their strong breed type and sweet temperaments.

“Dusty” from Gleanntan’s first litter (with Gleanntan prefix) serves as a reminder that strength of bone and body are essential breed characteristics. It is also important that Skyes are attractive, with quintessential terrier expression.
BISS GCH. Gleanntan Grace Filled Journey - ‘Angel”
Best of Breed - Potomac Skye Terrier Club Specialty and New GCH. Gleanntan Grace Filled Journey - “Angel” returned to the ring in mid-April, earning BOB in her first show, Harrisburg KC on April 11 under judge Cindy Vogels. Angel then went on to earn Best of Breed at the Potomac Skye Terrier Club Specialty on Friday, April 17 under judge Richard Powell. On June 13, 2026, Angel completed the final points needed for the AKC Grand Championship title with a BOB at the Bryn Mawr KC show under judge Mrs. Lydia Coleman Hutchinson.
At the 149th Annual Westminster Kennel Club show on February 11, 2025, superbly handled by his owner, Antoinelle Vulpis, GCHS. Gleanntan’s Sure Shot Greyjoy - “Archer” won the terrier group under judge Mr. David J. Kirkland. Earlier in the day, he earned Best of Breed under judge Mr. Randy E. Garren.
At the Montgomery County KC show on Sunday, October 6, 2024, GCHS. Gleanntan’s Sure Shot Greyjoy - “Archer” and his owner/handler, Antoinelle Vulpis made history! After going Best of Breed from the Veterans class earlier in the day under judge Mrs. Lorraine W. Bisso, Archer went BEST IN SHOW at the most prestigious terrier show in the world. The judge was renowned Cairn Terrier breeder, Mrs. Lydia Coleman Hutchinson. Archer is the Skye Terrier to go BIS in this show’s 95-year history. In going BIS, Archer defeated 1,067 terriers.
